Since Nonito's last win against Darchinyan, I was really surprised that he got great skills. From that point until now, I'm always very excited to see him fight. And today, he will up against Luis Maldonado, before the fight, I heard in our local news an interview with him. And he was very confident that he'll win.
And so what happened?????? No surprised! He really outboxed, Maldonado. From the start, Maldonado was bleeding all the way to the 8th round. The time Nonito "Filipino Flash" Donaire rocking Luis Maldonado with so many hard punches, and the referee stopped the fight for Nonito's 12th K.O. of his career.
Feels good for filipinos, good to see and feel that filipinos is knocking on the doors on world of boxing. So many rising stars right now following the path of Manny Pacquiao. I'm wondering now that if this continues, boxing will be a sport to be embraced in Philippines. Where you can see a lot boxing gyms around corners of streets. That will be great! It is'nt a dream right? Really, really possible. So many are skilled here in Philippines, we just dont have that much concern for sport boxing for now, due to many government issues. But I'm praying hard for a concern on this sport. Me, myself is very fund of boxing, I just can't find near boxing gym in our place. Beside basketball, boxing is where I have a lot of passion for.
Come on! Mabuhay filipinos! We are kicking butts on world of boxing.
